Science at Newton Abbot College is moving into an exciting time, with a programme of laboratory refurbishment being planned.

KS3
Pupils currently have 4 Science lessons each week. In Years 7 and 8, pupils are taught Science by one teacher and in Year 9 by two teachers who cover the three Sciences. There is a strong emphasis on developing practical skills and teaching about how science works. CASE lessons, which develop thinking skills, are delivered once a fortnight in Years 7 and 8.
