Student dining

Supporting a child’s healthy eating in turn supports healthy learning. Newton Abbot College boasts three, five star rated eateries, available to staff and students that offer a wide range of delicious and healthy dining options. Our cafés and restaurants are open from early morning through to the end of the College day.

The main Green Tree Restaurant, Café DC and the College Café offer a wide range of daily options, from breakfast items through to hot and cold baguettes, pasta pots, salads and paninis and a daily, freshly prepared range of seasonal stir fries from the teppan grill. Hot and cold drinks are also available throughout the College day.

Allergies and Diabetes

The catering team ensures there are options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten intolerance and Coeliacs. The catering team work with students and their parents and carers, as well as obtaining support and advice from Torbay Hospital. This gives students the confidence that their individual meal choices are right for them.
