In an unprecedented year of change to this year’s GCSE examinations, the College is celebrating an exceptional set of results. Very high pass rates in all three core subjects of English (84%), Maths (81%) and Science (74%) have given staff and students good reason to celebrate. Impressively, against a national backdrop of a narrowing curriculum, students also performed outstandingly in the wider curriculum with 100% pass rate in Art, Drama, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Resistant Materials.

Sixth Form Examinations
For the first time in the history of Newton Abbot College, students achieved a ground-breaking 100% pass rate, following the release of its A Level and BTEC results. An incredible 77% of those examination grades have been awarded at A*-B level. The full results show the success in A-Level, Academic, Applied General and Technical qualifications.
