Newton Abbot College’s staff and Sixth Form café has been treated to a menu overhaul and relaunch as part of the ongoing working relationship with catering company, Innovate.
Following months of research and planning, the new-look menu includes a wide range of options from paninis and wraps to fresh salad and fruit, in a bid to provide greater choice and options for the young adults and staff in the College community. Further upgrades have seen the installation of card machines that will allow students and staff to pay by card or contactless payment, as well as Apple Pay.

The College’s catering department are already an award-winning provider, having secured the Soil Association’s ‘Food for Life’ Bronze Catering Mark in 2017. It is hoped that this new venture will attract a new group of loyal customers.
Year 13 student, Jack van Kuyk, said: “The food is amazing and targeted at more of an adult customer. I feel treated more like an adult who is responsible for making their own food choices. Being able to use Apple Pay for the first time on site is so convenient.”
