Newton Abbot College has once again hosted its highly successful, annual Careers Fair.
Over forty exhibitors were welcomed to the College’s Daphne Collman Auditorium on Thursday 7 February; representatives from a huge range of professions, from higher education and armed forces, to the police, healthcare and architecture were visited by over 1,000 students, to discuss potential future career opportunities.

This latest fair is one of a series of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) opportunities and comes just after the College was awarded the full Quality in Careers Standard Award in their work with CSW Group.
Year 8 student, Holly Gillard, said of the event, “It was an amazing experience to get to talk to people from a range of industries. I enjoyed getting the change to get into discussions about my future. I am interested in starting my own hair and beauty business, so it was helpful getting to talk to companies with businesses of their own.”
