Newton Abbot College is celebrating yet another outstanding set of A-Level and Vocational post-16 results for 2015. Particularly impressive is the number of qualifications gained at the highest possible grade; with regard to A-Level and Level 3 BTEC qualifications, 31% of qualifications were achieved at A* or A (Distinction */Distinction). More than half of grades awarded (57%) were at B grade or above.
The College’s Principal, Paul Cornish, commented ‘The leadership team and Governors are exceptionally proud of our post-16 students and all the College staff. These outstanding results are evidence of our success in achieving our main aims of increasing opportunities, maximising outcomes and improving life chances.
