The College is celebrating its best ever result at the South Devon Area Schools’ Athletics Championships held at Exeter Arena on 26 June.
Thirty students from Years 7-10 travelled to the event to compete against fifteen other schools and academies in traditional athletic disciplines including javelin, 100m sprint, and long jump. Each competitor entered one track and one field discipline, scoring points that would be accumulated and put towards their team total.

This was the best result in the College’s history; Jamie Salter, Team Leader of Physical Education, said of the result: “The College’s second place at the championships was a result of a long process of dedicated preparation by all of our talented students. They were a real credit, both to themselves and to the College throughout the day; their grit and determination was really inspiring and I couldn’t be prouder of them or the result.”
