Fun in the sun

Newton Abbot College took a group of Year 9 students to Tossa De Mar, Spain, with the aim of building on their team working skills, finding and developing new talents, and developing their confidence in speaking another language. During the day they took part in a wide variety of water sports: snorkelling, paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing and wet walking.  They also had the chance to visit Waterworld in Lloret de Mar, Europe’s largest waterpark!  During the evening they took part in bowling, beach games, fancy dress, pizza nights and there was also a disco on their final night. They were a credit to the College and this was an incredibly rewarding experience for both staff and students.”
