Fundraising marathon

Once again staff at Newton Abbot College are fully committed to raising funds for the College’s charity of the year, Rowcroft Hospice.  Joni Saunders and Julie Lee are taking part in the Torbay Half Marathon which takes place on 29 June 2014.  The route covers 13.1 miles and the runners have to do two laps from the Esplanade, Paignton, to the Pavilion, Torquay, and back again. Joni and Julie have been in training since November and also took part in the Exeter Half Marathon back in February.  They have set themselves the target to raise at least £400 for Rowcroft Hospice and they are well on their way to exceeding that target.
