Henry become british no 4 in bmx british championships

This year, our Year 8 student, Henry, has been competing in the National BMX series with various races occurring all over the Country. Henry finished his last race of the series in Cumbernauld, Scotland where all points from the series when towards his ranking.

True to form this year Henry raced superbly and after all of Henry’s races this season it left Henry 7th in the National standings on equal points with 6th, a jump of nine places from his last ranking. He finishes the national series as one of only two riders to make every main final of the series.

Henry also competed in Leicester for The British Championships. The British Champs in Leicester saw Henry's age group with the largest of all the age groups 70 riders. He won all his heats, his 1/8th final and his 1/4 final then took 3rd in arguably his toughest semi-final of the year to make the main final. Henry finished 4th in the final and is extremely proud to be British No4.

Henry is back to training for the season ahead with still a few small events to compete in. We are extremely proud of Henry and what he has achieved and wish him well for the season ahead
