Jasmine was selected to take part in the 80-athlete training squad following her incredible performance at the British Indoor Ski Schools Race held at the Indoor Snow Dome in Hemel Hempstead in late September 2019. Her strong performance for the College team saw her individually finishing 8th out of 64 entrants, helping the team to secure third place overall and was the basis of her selection for the ESSKIA squad. Training included technical sessions, timed runs and the chance to meet with other talented young skiers from across the country.

College Ski Team Coach and Teacher of Physical Education, Charlotte Tonge, said: “This is a great opportunity for Jasmine to continue to learn and excel in a sport she loves. It is great that she is out representing Newton Abbot College on an International level and her future is very bright in the sport. We can’t wait to see what she will be able to achieve in the future.”
