On Wednesday 9th February Newton Abbot College held a Key Stage One aesthetics festival, taking place at the Leisure Centre.
This was the first time that an aesthetics focused festival has been held at the College. During the festival the students took part in a carousel of seven activity stations which all had a different aesthetics focus. In total there were 80 students who attended the festival.
The schools who attended were as follows:
PE teacher Mr Patchett said “What a really positive and thrilling event this was. This is the first time that we have held an aesthetics focused festival for this age range. It was a really productive afternoon with the students developing and refining lots of key skills such as balancing, jumping and rolling. The student leaders from the College did a great job as always, helping to ensure that the primary children who they taught really did improve and develop”
