National careers week

Newton Abbot College took part in the National Careers Week 2014 by offering their students an exciting range of workshops and activities. Opportunity Plus South West ran Motivation and Confidence workshops and discussions for our Hair and Beauty, Childcare and Health and Social Care students.  These workshops provided them with a very interesting and fun way of looking at how they can achieve their goals in the future. Careers South West visited during the week to provide students with expert careers advice and useful tips, which enabled them to look at future pathways and how they can achieve their potential. Vicki Hughes, Vocational Co-ordinator, said “All of our students came away with some great information and tips which will help them to prepare for the next step in their lives.  We look forward to working with these organisations again in the future.”
