“Patrick has been an absolute delight to teach and always approaches his Drama lessons with creative enthusiasm and positivity. He has played a multitude of roles, including many lead roles, from Brutus in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar to Alex Vicary in a local community-based project on World War 1. He impressed the audiences with his gifted and pensive executions in both these remarkable performances. He was an excellent role model for the other cast members as he was hard working, committed and highly inspiring. He is an extraordinary performer, merging instinct and intelligence. Patrick wholeheartedly deserves recognition for his contribution to the College and the wider community. He is talented and imaginative, with an appetite for success. Patrick is a strong leader, an empathic collaborator and he thoroughly deserves the award this month for his exceptional ability and exciting potential for the future. I am sure this is the beginning of many more triumphs.”

‘As a tutee, Patrick is everything you would want from a Year 10 student. He is the perfect role model for younger students within the College. He has a mature head on young shoulders and a fantastic sense of humour that brightens up tutor time. He fully engages in the whole College experience and as his Tutor I am proud to see him excelling in his performances.’

J Salter, Team Leader of Physical Education and Tutor

“Patrick is a hugely valuable member of the class in Religious Studies. He is a deep thinker who always asks perceptive questions and makes important contributions to debates. His excellent knowledge of current affairs allows him to make links between the topics we cover in class and issues out in the real world, which always adds an interesting dimension to our class discussions. Patrick’s home learning tasks are of the highest quality and his written work is outstanding. A real star!”
