Robert said of his victory: “It was fun competing against my friends and also experiencing friendly rivalry between the other teammates. It was a great achievement to come first. In the future, I would like to learn some new moves and techniques and compete with them”

Newton Abbot College Teacher of Physical Education, Briony Martin, said: “Robert is a talented young athlete, who always gives his best to any given sporting situation. We are continually surprised and thrilled when we hear of our students’ achievements outside of College; Robert is a humble and determined young athlete and we are sure he will go far!”
