“Jamie has made huge strides already in Year 9 Drama this year. If I compared him now with Jamie in Year 7, the progress is incredibly impressive; particularly his levels of confidence, his ability to express himself and his general speaking skills. He is such an enthusiastic student – not only in Drama but across the curriculum – and he is always positive and upbeat in his attitude to learning. Jamie has a bright future ahead; I have no doubt about that. Well done, Jamie!”

G Davies, Teacher of Drama

“Jamie is an extremely hard-working student who is always focussed on giving 100% to everything he does. Jamie is an absolute pleasure to teach, he is always cheerful and helpful in lessons offering support to anyone that needs help.”

Teacher of Mathematics

“Jamie is the heart and soul of my tutor group. He is always enthusiastic and gives 110% to all our tutor activities.”

Dr Boulton, Teacher of Science and Tutor

“Jamie has an outstanding attitude within PE lessons. He is committed, enthusiastic and constantly challenges himself to leave his comfort zone in every lesson. He is always on task and works brilliantly in a group or on an individual basis. I cannot think of a student more deserving of ‘Student of the Month’ than Jamie and I know this will also be a popular choice amongst his peers who value him very highly as a classmate.”

M Dicks, Teacher of Physical Education

“Jamie is an absolute privilege to teach. He consistently demonstrates a wonderful enthusiasm towards science and is someone who is, and will always be, a huge pleasure to teach. Within the classroom, Jamie is always committed to working to the best of his ability and I highly commend him on his efforts towards GCSE science thus far. Outside of the classroom, Jamie has impressed me hugely; he consistently works above and beyond with his home learning and his accuracy on Tassomai has improved significantly since the start of Year 9. Not only does Jamie work hard in each lesson, but it is clear that he enjoys learning. He contributes regularly to class discussion and is keen to seek help when he feels that this is needed. Jamie is an extremely mature young man; dedicated to improving his knowledge and understanding and someone who demonstrates all of the characteristics that I wish to see in a young learner. It is lovely to hear so many staff talking so positively about him. He is a huge credit to the College, to his family and to himself. Well done Jamie!”
