“As well as improvements in the core subjects, pupils do exceptionally well in the performing arts. Teachers are highly skilled and build pupils’ knowledge practically as well as boosting their confidence.”
Very high pass rates in all three core subjects of English (93%), Maths (82%) and Science (77%) have given staff and students good reason to celebrate. Impressively, against a national backdrop of a narrowing curriculum, students also performed outstandingly in the wider curriculum with 100% pass rate in Chemistry and Music, and a 95% or higher pass rate in Art, Biology, French and Spanish.
